Thirty-five years. The same question.
What actually happens inside this body, and what do we do about it? That question has followed me since the 1990s, and it is still the only one that matters.
Not a CV. A path.
I was born in Hässleholm, Sweden, in a family where food was cooked from scratch and sport was part of everyday life. As a young man I competed for Sweden in junior internationals in both athletics and weightlifting, until a back injury in my early twenties ended my elite career. A scholarship took me to the United States, where I graduated in Human Performance from Northeast Louisiana University.
Since 1991 I have worked in almost every part of the field. Worked with the Swedish Athletics Federation and the Swedish Tennis Federation. Run fitness clubs. Run a rehabilitation clinic. Trained personal trainers, nutrition advisors and Strength & Conditioning coaches. Coached elite athletes across Europe. Worked with corporate health in large organisations.
Over the past ten years the focus has moved. Not to performance for its own sake, but to the question of what happens to people after forty, and why so many who have succeeded at everything else in life do not succeed with their bodies.
Rebirth is the answer I arrived at. It is not a product I invented. It is what was left when I removed everything that did not work.
The most frustrating part was that ill health kept growing.
I have reached many people and received an enormous amount of positive feedback. At the same time ill health in society has only increased. It did not add up.
The answer was that most people look for the solution where it is not, and are offered something that dampens symptoms while the root of the problem remains. Optimising what you can actually influence, your food, your training, your sleep, your recovery and your mind, is what decides what your future health looks like.
That is what I work with.
